My Heart Project

For three years I’ve been carrying this wish in my heart – and this year I’m finally making it come true: a fundraiser for Operation Christmas Child.

Together with you, I want to bring as many children in poverty as possible a lovingly packed gift and the message of Christmas. For many, it will be the only Christmas gift they ever receive.

The Project

Operation Christmas Child is part of an international initiative that has already brought hope and joy to millions of children worldwide. Last year alone, nearly 16 million children received a gift and the message of Christmas.

I’ll be turning my studio into a little Christmas workshop: with your donations, I’ll buy the gifts, lovingly pack the shoeboxes, and deliver them to the collection point.

Your Contribution

You decide how much you’d like to give – every contribution is welcome, and even a few euros make a difference!

A complete Christmas gift for one child costs around €30. Of this amount:

€20–25 goes toward the gifts
about €10 covers transport and follow-up support for the children and families

100% of your donation goes directly to the project. I don’t keep anything from your contribution.

The shoeboxes
More than just a gift

The shoeboxes are filled with both practical and beautiful gifts – for example, gloves, a hat, toothpaste and a toothbrush, school supplies, notebooks, and a “wow” gift: a toy that brings the children special joy.

The filled shoeboxes from Germany are distributed to children in Eastern Europe, specifically in Bulgaria, Estonia, Georgia, Croatia, Latvia, Lithuania, Montenegro, North Macedonia, Poland, Romania, Slovakia, Ukraine, and Hungary.

But every shoebox is more than just a gift: it is a message of love, a sign that the children are remembered, and it brings hope into their lives.

As a sign of my gratitude, everyone who donates €30 or more will receive my art print “Share the Light” – created especially for this campaign.

This print is a limited edition, available only as part of this project. By giving, you’re not only bringing joy to a child, but you’ll also receive a unique piece of art – a reminder of hope and light for your own home.

If you donate €30 or more, please send me your name and address – either as a note with your donation, via WhatsApp, or by email. This way, I can send you the “Share the Light” art print straight to your home.
